Coconut Oil, despite it being an oil, is hard. It's especially hard when you're struggling to scoop it out for soap making. I am all about working smarter, not harder.
I know some people that will set their tub in a hot bath to loosen the oil up. However, I order in bulk and lifting a large wet bucket out of water, not to mention getting it in the tub, does not appeal to me.
